Does this sound like I am dressing conservative? ?

In less then 8 hours I will be making my future, or I will be continuing on a path to keep looking for a job. Tomorrow I am applying for a very conservative company. My personality, and design background has made me always dress very trendy, and very modern.

For tomorrows interview, I am wearing a medium gray suit, a black shirt, and a black and silver tie to really bring the suit and shirt together. I've done a ton of research and even talked to different people who have worked for this company. And they all scream "dress conservative".

I am all about the white shirt, and a simple navy blue tie, but that's not me, I am always trying to allow a person to see my true sense of design, Christ I went to college for graphic design and marketing. This job I am applying for is 100% marketing, but the company is way conservative.

Will my outfit break me? or make me... I need advice pronto and I love you all for your personal thoughts!

You can dress conservative without dressing plain and boring.

Don't your shirt unbottoned or your clothes too, obviously. Add in your personality and fashion, and I think they would like it. The idea you have sounds pretty good. Even some faded jeans and a black button up could be good. It's not too flashy, but apparently it is supposed to be formal wear.

Don't let people drag you down. Have fun with your fashion! You don't have to dress like a tramp or your going to a beach or anything, but you can still dress cute!

Oh and I'm sure your style with definately make you. Everyone loves a person with style.(And charm) It might even be refreshing for the company!Does this sound like I am dressing conservative? ?
If you really want to get this job and everyone is saying dress conservative, then do it. Wear the navy blue monkey suit and white shirt for a day and once you get the job and people get to know you then you can express your sense of style and personality. Until then suck it up and rock your interview.

And yes, the gray suit you descirbed is not conservative enough. If you want to wear the gray suit pair it with a white shirt and either a blue or red tie. Does this sound like I am dressing conservative? ?
wear what you want, and what you think they might like. so maybe combine the too. and remember that clothing is not as important as how you present yourself. be confident; and you
as lovely as ur outfit sounds, it wouldn't be a good idea to do it for an interview, stay safe and wear a traditional dark suit with white shirt etc. trust me u will feel a lot more secure when it comes time for the interview, last thing u'll need is to be worrying about what the interviewer thinks about ur attire! stay traditional for about a few weeks and then u can start showing more of ur personality after ppl get to know u more, good luck!
