Do you think this woman is rude or CRAZY?

Would you say this lady is rude or has mental issues?

Shes my dads half sister, when he passed away me and my mom tried to be close to her. Shes 65, never married, has 6 cats, long grey hair, belongs to an ashram.

first weird thing:

she invited us to her house, there was a photo of her guru on every wall, even the bathroom. she told use she has no food in her house and we would have to purchase our own (this is after 20 yrs of my Mom inviting her for dinner and taking her out to dinner)



2nd weird thing:

She writes me an email in all caps, saying "YOU WILL NEVER HAVE MONEY CAUSE U DONT WORK HARD"

at the time i was 26, grad student, with a full time job as a marketing researcher. I emailed her back all my degrees, past jobs, my resume and refrences, I told her i do work hard and will have money due to my hard work, skills, and degrees.

She writes back, saying, Im happy to hear that



3rd weird thing:

I found a cat, she has 6 of them and its her fav topic. I just mentioned if she knew anyone that would want a cat. She wrote back in all CAPS

I sent a photo of the cat and she made no comment. Then 2 days later she sent an email saying her friend found a cat and he needs a home, with photos of the cat and she writes, do you know anyone who would want him?



She sent about 10 more emails abotut thsi cat

4th weird thing-

My Mom invites her for dinner, i greet her and tell her she looks nice and go to kiss her, she backs away from me with a frown. Then she tells my MOM at dinner she lacks communication skills

5th weird thing:

We took a family cruise, my mom invited her to come. for 6 days we never saw her, she had a room with the help cause it was cheap, we invited her to our penthouse type room, she never came, we had dinner once, some strangers we met told my mom shes a b *tch

6TH Weird thing: Me, mom, sister, took a trip to Rome, she never asked how it was.

I get an email from her saying, "I hope my neighborhood doesnt turn into FILTHY- UNSAVORY ROME"



WTF? weirdDo you think this woman is rude or CRAZY?
I'd say she's rude and crazy

Stay away from the woman!



It sounds like you really have your life together and I wouldn't spend to much time focusing on someone who is obviously not dying to have a relationship with you.



Although if she really does have mental issues, thats another story entirely. Find out if there is any history of mental issues with her or that side of your family. If you are truly worried about her, contact a doctor that may be able to help. Maybe you can trick into seeing a psychiatrist by telling her you are going to some cat convention :) just kidding.



But seriously, if your conclusion is that the woman is just mean and rude then let her be rude to her cats not to you!

She sounds a little weird to me... but family is family. She seems to be unhappy in life and likes to make other's feel bad by saying those rude comments.Do you think this woman is rude or CRAZY?
She sounds like a real whack job. Have you ever thought about having her evaluated for mental defects?
i think shes rude and crazy and stupid try to avoid and just make here emails spam
She has issues definitely. Don't buy into her comments. Eg proving your skills and work history. Just say things like "well you are entitled to your opinion".



Personally if I were you I would avoid her. Life is too short to be dragged down by rude people. Its her responsibility to get help and change if she needs to -- if she doesnt change then she can't expect people to like her and tollerate her.
